For most fuel containment sumps, the 900Γ—900 D400 square cover is the standard specification. If your sump contains multiple systems requiring independent access (e.g. submersible pump and vapour recovery), the 900 DIP D400 with dual inspection ports eliminates the need to remove the full cover during routine maintenance. For sensor and monitoring access points, the 350mm D400 is appropriate. If you have project drawings, send them to us and we'll advise the right model for each position.

DIP stands for Double Inspection Port. The cover has two independently sealed inspection holes (ports), allowing access to two separate systems within the sump without removing the main cover. Each port has its own sealed lid that maintains the IP68 watertight rating when closed. This is particularly useful for sumps containing both a submersible pump and a stage-2 vapour recovery connection.
