Complete D400 composite cover range engineered specifically for petroleum retail environments. Non-conductive, watertight, and theft-proof β meeting the exact requirements of modern fuel station design.
All four models are D400-rated and designed for direct installation in petroleum retail forecourt environments. Select a model to view details.
The industry-standard access cover for fuel containment sumps. Watertight IP68 seal prevents surface water and fuel ingress. Available with or without inspection hole and locking mechanism.
Large-diameter round composite cover for fuel station forecourt utility access and tanker delivery areas. D400-rated for all heavy vehicle traffic. Standard watertight frame seal.
Specialist cover with two independent inspection ports, allowing simultaneous or sequential access to two separate systems within a single sump β without removing the main cover.
Small-diameter D400 composite cover for individual sensor access, vent points, and small utility connections within the fuel station forecourt. Full D400 load rating despite compact size.

Each position in a fuel station forecourt has specific load and access requirements. Our four-model range covers every zone.
High-load zone where fuel tankers approach and connect to underground storage. Requires D400 rating for repeated 40-tonne axle loads.
900Γ900 D400 900mm D400Primary access to fuel containment sumps housing submersible pumps, vapour recovery systems, and leak detection equipment.
900Γ900 D400 900 DIP D400Small access points for interstitial leak detection sensors, STP vent connections, and electronic monitoring systems embedded in the forecourt slab.
350mm D400In fuel station environments, material choice is a safety and operational decision β not just a procurement one.
Metal covers can generate sparks if struck by tools or vehicle components in fuel vapour atmospheres. SMC composite is electrically non-conductive by material β this risk is eliminated by design, not by procedure or warning signage.
Fuel containment regulations require sumps to remain sealed against surface water ingress. Our EPDM gasket system maintains IP68 integrity throughout the cover's service life β unlike metal covers whose sealing surfaces degrade from corrosion.
Petrol, diesel, and forecourt cleaning chemicals accelerate corrosion in ferrous metal covers, eventually compromising both seal and structural integrity. SMC composite is chemically inert to all standard petroleum products.
We produce our own SMC compound in-house. This means we control the formula β fibre content, resin chemistry, and filler β optimised specifically for fuel station load and chemical conditions. No third-party material variability.
For most fuel containment sumps, the 900Γ900 D400 square cover is the standard specification. If your sump contains multiple systems requiring independent access (e.g. submersible pump and vapour recovery), the 900 DIP D400 with dual inspection ports eliminates the need to remove the full cover during routine maintenance. For sensor and monitoring access points, the 350mm D400 is appropriate. If you have project drawings, send them to us and we'll advise the right model for each position.
DIP stands for Double Inspection Port. The cover has two independently sealed inspection holes (ports), allowing access to two separate systems within the sump without removing the main cover. Each port has its own sealed lid that maintains the IP68 watertight rating when closed. This is particularly useful for sumps containing both a submersible pump and a stage-2 vapour recovery connection.
Yes. We are an approved supplier to both PetroChina and Sinopec station construction and refurbishment programmes. We can provide verification documentation on request. We also supply OEM-branded covers with operator logos moulded into the surface for branded station builds. Contact us with your project details and we will provide the relevant qualification documents.
Yes. Logos and text can be moulded directly into the anti-slip surface pattern. We supply branded covers for major oil company programmes. Minimum quantities apply for custom tooling. Provide your artwork and programme volume when requesting a quote and we will advise on feasibility and pricing.
Lead times depend on order volume, specification, and whether custom OEM marking is required. Standard covers for small and medium projects are typically available faster than custom tooling orders. Contact us with your project timeline and required quantities and we will provide a specific lead time with your quotation.
Tell us your project scope and which models you need. We'll respond within 24 hours with pricing, lead time, and any required certification documentation.
